I See a Pattern

From Domino- Rose Cumming wallpaper.... this entryway is my dream.

Seeing as I have a lot of backlog to address, let's get started. Unfortunately I didn't make note of all the credits when I first started saving these... I am making a concerted effort to do so now, in order to properly give credit where credit is due. Apologies in advance if I am failing to credit YOU for anything I've appropriated... It won't happen again (I hope).

Yes, MORE Imperial Trellis. We can't help ourselves.

I love going back through my tear-sheet archives and looking for patterns (no pun intended) that emerge from all of the designs that have struck our fancy. As you can see from this collection, we love bold patterns and color. I keep thinking the love will subside for something a bit more subtle, and though I am often a fan of subtlety in others' spaces, in my own life, I keep wanting to go big.

About the Blog

Another blog? Really? You're probably thinking some variation of that, or this: You barely even update the one you already have! I know, I know. BUT. Over the last few months I've found myself saving photos from blog after blog to my computer, with names like "bedroom inspiration 1" or "window treatment idea 42." You get the picture.

Anyhoo, I got the idea to start housing them in a blog, categorized by source of inspriation (i.e, dining room chairs, paint colors, etc.), so that I can easily reference them. I don't want to be bothered by grouping them into some overly coherent theme time after time, so they'll likely be a little willy-nilly, with one overriding theme: great ideas.

This is mostly for my own reference, but if any of you out there find it useful or interesting in any way whatsoever, jolly good.
